The post pandemics and the effects of the Ukraina war, but also a good portion of optimism will be on the agenda of this year's Frozen at Seas-conference in Aalesund on 8th June.
The frozen at Sea-conference has established itself as a central and important meeting place for the deep-sea fishing fleet. In 2020, there was a record registration with 320 participants. Then came the pandemic, and in 2021 the conference was conducted digitally as a TV broadcast.

- This year we are looking forward to being able to meet face to face again. We have a relevant and interesting program, says Odd Kristian Dahle, head of commication in Fiskebåt.
The conference is a collaboration between Fiskebåt, the Norwegian Seafood Council and Nordea, and was arranged for the first time in 2016. The conference is usually held in the first week of January, but due to the corona pandemic, it was postponed to 8th June this year.
Current program
The program committee consisting of Tove Sleipnes (Norwegian Seafood Council), Finn-Arne Egeness (Nordea) and Odd Kristian Dahle (Fiskebåt) has worked intensively to put in place the most relevant program possible that includes framework conditions, technology and market.
