The Ombordfryst (Frozen at sea) - conference in Ålesund sets a new record with over 500 registrants. This is far more than previously and shows that the conference is important.
Last year, Norwegian seafood exports exceeded NOK 150 billion. More than half of the volume comes from the wild fish industry.
On 12 January, the whitefish industry gathers in Ålesund for the annual Ombordfryst-conference. And this year there is a new registration record with 501 registered, of which 101 apply digitally.
- This shows that the Ombordfryst-conference is well established as a very important meeting place for the whitefish industry. It also shows that we meet with a good and relevant program and with interesting presenters, says Odd Kristian Dahle, head of communications at Fiskebåt.
The conference is organized early in January each year by the organizers, the Norwegian Seafood Council, Nordea and Fiskebåt.
